Duties and Responsibilities
The Quality and Environmental Manager will be responsible for ensuring that company’s products and processes meet the required quality and environmental standards. The Manager will develop and implement quality and environmental policies, procedures, and standards, and work closely with other departments to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and other relevant quality and environmental standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations.
- Support the implementation of the ISO 27001.
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure all products meet quality standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality and environmental standards.
- Develop and deliver training programs on quality and environmental standards for production staff.
- Manage the investigation of quality and environmental incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Work with suppliers (EMS) and customers to ensure quality and environmental standards are met throughout the supply chain.
- Develop and maintain quality and environmental documentation, including policies, procedures, and manuals.
- Provide regular reports on quality and environmental performance to senior management.
Profile and skills
- Have relevant engineering qualification.
- The ideal candidate will have five years’ experience of working in a similar industry environment undertaking tasks comparable to the role.
- Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality standards and ISO 14001 Environmental standards. Good knowledge of ISO27001 IT Security standard.
- General understanding and knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
- A thorough understanding of the company’s services, products and its associated markets would be advantageous.
- Experienced Internal Auditor.
- Registered / certified ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Lead Auditor is an advantage.
