Duties and Responsibilities
In order to complete the existing team of software engineers, Ekinops is looking for an experienced System DevOps engineer with more than 5 years of experience, your responsibilities will be as follows:
- Support the Software development, testing and operations of PHP/DB/Python based networking products.
- Build the product platforms as well as help maintain the test environments (on premises or using public cloud).
- Disseminate your knowledge to increase the skills and know-how of the team in your areas of expertise.
- Provide support to the customers for the operations of the solution when deployed in their environment
Profile and skills
- As a System/DevOps Engineer, you will have the following skills:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a System Engineer/DevOps role, supporting SW development and deployment of large-scale solutions in continuous integration/continuous delivery mode (based on Linux, Containers, Dockers, Kubernetes, Bash, PHP & Python are the main languages)
- Strong knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, OpenStack, deployment and operations on Azure and AWS
- Good to have knowledge of these technologies: MicroServices, Docker, Kubernetes, MQTT or KAFKA, ACS/NMS/SD-WAN, HTTP, OpenAPI.
- Experience in a distributed team environment, with knowledge of git/gitlab
- Excellent communication (oral, written), fluent in English.
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple teams/distributed teams.
