Duties and Responsibilities

Within the ONEOS department, the 'Release Coordinator' engineer is in charge, for the Ekinops CPE’s software, of coordinating the definition and delivery of release content, the different types of associated tests, and finally of proposing the official publication.

The 'Release Coordinator' engineer will:

  • Collect, synthesize, prioritize, and track customer needs from anomalies records and resources made available to process them.
  • Solicit, coordinate development and support teams in investigation of problems.
  • Launch, coordinate requests for functional tests and validations according to the impacts and risks associated with the changes made to each edition.
  • Communicate to the different teams via the appropriate means, information and the tasks required for the release process as well as the real-time update status and schedule of each edition.
  • Ensure that the various teams involved respect their commitments and alert the management if the discrepancies implicate publications outside the negotiable margins.
  • Guarantee the consistency and quality of the software delivered with respect to the procedures and existing standards.

In addition, the 'Release Coordinator' engineer will actively participate in:

  • Definition and improvement of procedures, standards, tools and information system around his activity.
  • Proposals for enrichment of functional test plans and validation.

Profile and skills

Engineer oriented networks and / or embedded computing, the candidate must have at least 5 years' experience in development, integration or software validation with a strong sensitivity to project management and setting up industrial processes.

  • Control of networks and communication protocols embedded on routers of CPE type.
  • Knowledge of the following tools: Gitlab/git, Jira, Jenkins.
  • Knowledge in Python and bash scripting development.
  • Understanding of build systems.
  • Knowledge in embedded software architecture, with strong constraints, is a big asset.
  • Knowledge in Agile methodology, Scrum framework and Kanban method is a big asset.
  • Oral and written technical communication in English.
